Here’s exactly what you get, before you give us anything.
Most free audits ask for your details and then send a PDF you can’t judge until it’s too late. This is the whole output, in full, for an example business — so you can decide whether the thinking is worth three minutes of yours.
This is a made-up example, not a client. The answers below were invented to show how the read works. Nothing on this page describes a real business, and no results, numbers or outcomes are claimed for anybody.
The answers we started from
An example: a plumbing, HVAC or electrical business
- Type of business
- Plumbing, HVAC or electrical
- Website
- “It looks fine, but it doesn’t seem to bring in work”
- Google Maps
- “I have a listing but never really set it up”
- Where work comes from
- Word of mouth and repeat customers
- Advertising
- “We tried it and stopped”
- After an enquiry arrives
- “Calls get missed after hours or when we’re on a job”
- Priority
- “Looking as professional as we actually are”
Your first read
You're solid through stage 1. Stage 2 — Get Found — is where you're losing work.
Here’s what you told us
your website looks fine but doesn't bring in work; you have a Google listing you've never really set up; most of your work comes from word of mouth and repeat customers; you tried advertising and stopped; calls get missed after hours or when you're on a job.
Stage 2 · Get Found
People can't find you at the moment they're ready to hire
You told us you have a Google listing you've never really set up.
The people searching right now are choosing from whoever they can see. If that is not you, the job goes to whoever answers first.
Stage 3 · Get Chosen
Not enough people are seeing you in the first place
You told us most of your work comes from word of mouth and repeat customers and you tried advertising and stopped.
A channel you do not control can shrink without warning, and there is nothing to replace it with when it does.
Stage 4 · Get Called
People find you, then leave without calling
You told us your website looks fine but doesn't bring in work.
You are already paying for those visitors, in time or in money. The ones who leave cost exactly the same as the ones who call.
You said your priority is something else. You said the thing you’d fix first is looking as professional as you actually are. Based on your answers we’d put that after the two above — not because it doesn’t matter, but because it isn’t what’s costing you work right now.
Do this yourself this week
Find out how far your listing actually reaches
Open a private browsing window, search "[your trade] + [your neighbourhood]", and look at the block of three on the map. Then do it again for a neighbourhood ten minutes away. If you show up in the first and not the second, you now know exactly how far your listing reaches.
That’s free, it takes about ten minutes, and it’s the first thing we’d look at anyway.
If you worked with us, here’s the order
First
The Google listing first — categories, service area, hours, photos — then the local search work that decides where you sit on the map.
Second
Build one channel you own alongside the one you have, then measure which one is actually producing work before spending more on either.
Then
Rework what the page says and how someone contacts you — what you do, where you do it, what happens next, and a way to act that takes one tap.
No dates and no promised numbers — we don’t know enough yet to give you either, and anyone who does at this stage is guessing.
This is a first read based on what you told us. It isn't an audit — we haven't looked at your site, your listing or your numbers yet. It's usually enough to know what to fix first.
10+ years doing this. We're not going to show you other people's numbers — we'll tell you exactly what we'd change and why, before you pay for anything.
That is the whole thing. No score, no gated section, no “book a call to see your results”. What a real one adds is your answers instead of these, and a look at your actual listing and site before we speak.
Notice what isn’t there
- No score out of 100 — there is no benchmark data to honestly derive one from.
- No gated section, and nothing held back until a sales call.
- No claim about what other businesses achieved.
- Every line traces back to an answer. If you change an answer, the reasoning changes with it — because it is generated from a rule, not written in advance.
